Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP) or crumbled soy curls
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke

Instructions

  • Mix spices together with TVP or Soy Curls in a medium bowl. Add the boiling water and liquid smoke, stir to combine, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and sprinkle on top of your pizza before cooking.

Notes

Makes enough for one 12" pizza but double if you like heavy toppings.
