DIY BBQ Sauce

If you're short on fridge space, why not make your own BBQ sauce from ingredients you already have.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard yellow, brown, dijon - your choice
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1/4 cup Bragg Liquid Aminos or soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or agave, or date syrup, or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Stir all ingredients together until smooth. Use exactly as you would store bought BBQ sauce. Makes about 3/4 cup.
